“Nothing Kills A Program Quicker ...” than everyone waiting “til the last minute to register. At some point, we have to determine if our enrollment is sufficient to hold an activity, program or team. If you are planning on signing up the first day of the event, we do not know that. We may cancel, and you’ll be out of luck. Please do not assume. Register Early!

Most dates and times are set in stone, but this schedule is tentative and can change. For changes and to catch up on all of the youth, adult, and other programs offered by the Russell Recreation Commission, look in the Russell County News or listen to KRSL-KCAY radio for the latest information. Upcoming activities are also available on Channel 7 at the beginning of every month.

Registration Deadline Friday!

You will notice something about our entry deadlines; they are all on Friday. We are doing this in an effort to promote deadlines more efficiently, prevent late registrations and to develop successful programs.

Share Your Talents

If you are interested in sharing a special skill or talent with the community, give us a call. We are always looking for new activities and instructors for them. Instructors will be reimbursed for expenses and their time.
