Directions To Memorial Park
For those arriving on I-70:
- Go North on 281 to the stoplight.
- At the stoplight turn East on Wichita Ave.
- Go East to Copeland Street – you will see a sign indicating the VFW Hall is to the North
- Turn North on Copeland and go past the golf course, VFW Building and swimming pool.
- At the swimming pool turn east – you can do this at either end of the pool block as both streets will lead into the park complex. If you pass the tennis courts you have gone too far north.
For those coming into Russell from the North on 281
- Go south on 281 to State Street.
- Turn east on State street and go east past the high school to Copeland street.
- At Copeland turn south and go south past the tennis courts to the swimming pool.
- At the pool turn east – at either end of the pool block as both streets will lead into the park complex.
